Editorial Reviews:
Product Description This is a tutorial manual for the beginning user of Pro/MANUFACTURING. The manual assumes the user has a basic working knowledge of Pro/ENGINEER. It begins with a simple click-by-click procedure to perform a volume milling sequence for the beginner to gain a basic familiarity with the manufacturing module. The manual includes a discussion of hole making, volume milling, profile milling and surface milling. The last section, on surface milling, discusses more sophisticated approaches and includes a discussion of various hints and techniques for solving problems and generating procedures to develop the milling process.

Customer Reviews:
Waste of money August 16, 2007 K. Chan What a waste of money. You can learn all that under the HELP section of Wildfire.
wasnt worth the 40$! May 12, 2007 T. Kumbera (Michigan USA) Book is for a novice or a basic undergrad instructional class. Manufacturing Pros will probably not need the book. Seems that the authors put together a little book to get beginners started. Online FREE tutorials do a much better job. Material in book does not cover in depth/advanced levels as well as the books on Pro-E design module. You should be through with "learning" from this book in about 2 hours. After that you are on your own and then its back to the old style of scratching your top shelf. PTS online help much better. Book is tacky for printing and binding on a product worth 40$. Summary: this will definitely not be your reference handbook that you keep on your desk. Sadly its the only "decent" book available for pro/manufacturing users.
