4 out of 5 stars A good introduction to Pro/E   September 11, 2005

I went through the textbook and performed most of exercises with the tryout edition in the attached CD. I worked 2 hours a day. It took about 10 working days. Some of exercises were too easy.

About installation, I had two problems. 1) Help did not work. 2) Internal web browser did not work. Maybe they could not find locations of data sources. The book would get five stars if the problems were removed. There was no description about installation of the software.

Proportion of descriptions about concept of parametric modeling and operation of software was adequate. Conceptual understanding effectively helped understanding operations.
