Its ok June 23, 2008 Decorating Fanatic (GA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's decent, but there are only a few pages specific to basements, attics and garages. The remainder could be applicable to finishing any space. That wasn't a problem for me, however, I could see how someone looking for a lot of ideas specific to a particular room might be dissapointed. It is certainly NOT an "inspiration book". This book focuses on the nuts and bolts needed to finish a space. Everything from the planning stage to finishing the trim is discussed. Personally I bought a whole slew of basement books and this was not one that I could not have lived without.
If you are looking to remodel your garage, there is not much ideas in this book October 11, 2007 Dayton Chan (Irvine, CA) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I wanted to get some ideas for converting my garage into a studies/recreation room but this book didn't offer much. Most of the garage ideas relates to adding storage cabinets. Ended up returning it to Amazon.
