Okay single player game - 10 hours of gameplay; rental material. November 15, 2009 Tim A. Payne (Washington DC, USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I thought this game was alright; story was so so. Controls are not great. It easy very easy.
You can seriously beat this in 10 hours so I would not want to purchase it. I would rent it over a few days and play through it if you are interested. I'm not certain why you would want to own this.
It's OK November 13, 2009 G. Conlledo Many web pages gave this game a good rating, but to be honest it gets kind of boring after a week or so... it the same thing every time you play it, even if you go online... to be honest guys, you will have a good time hearing Jack Black, but that's it...
What a great game! Jack Black is hilarious. November 13, 2009 M. McCart (Denver, CO) What a great game! Great for the ol' metal heads - you know who you are!
Simply Amazing November 12, 2009 J. Bartram (Va) While the story mode was short and can be beaten in about 10 hours it was still a very good game. The story while short is extremely funny and is great while it lasts. After beating the game their is still much to do. Their are literally hundreds of side missions to be completed. While some of the dialogue can be repetitive it's still funny. I overall loved this game and will defiantly be playing it for awhile.
drew November 12, 2009 A. Fogle (Texas) This game has so much potential but falls short. The music, hot rod, guitar solos, and Jack Black are all awesome but they can't overcome the fact that the game is easily beaten in 5-6 hours. Plus the game becomes very repetitive. I got bored after about 2 hours. There are some bugs in the games too. I became stuck on a rock and tree root. Kind of annoying when you have to quit your game to solve this issue. The ability to jump or fly permantly would make the gameplay a lot better too. I haven't played the multiplayer mode though. Maybe that is where this game really excels.
