| Customer Reviews: The Drawing book for SolidWorks February 5, 2008 K. Wordworth 28 out of 28 found this review helpful
I needed a Drawing and Detailing book for SolidWorks, and I did not have the money to pay a SolidWorks VAR for their class and book. This is a great book if you require detailed information on creating custom sheet formats, sheet templates, layers, multi-view drawings: detail, section, auxiliary, crop, broken out section, break, etc, and inserting BOMs, revision control, datum's, control frames, tolerancing, Tangent edges, importing an AutoCAD drawing and more. WOW!
The book is focused on providing a foundation on developing manufacturing drawings and using the ASME Y14.41 standard. The book saved me a lot of time vs. trying to search through the SolidWorks Help section which needs improvement.
