I Started out with alibre express two months ago and i liked it so much that i bought the standard package.I can't wait till im able to get the next upgrade(professional)then on to expert.I started out with little knowlage of 3d cad,now im designing a drill press.your looking for a excellant 3d cad program that is afordable and very easy to learn,this is it,alibre design.many thanks to the peaple who put it together,great product.

Alibre is a true parametric solid modeling software for a great price. Here at Industrial Tool Services we saved thousands in engineering costs in the first few months. We could not have asked for a better value with features well above the cost of the software.
Now we are no longer dependant on multiple programs for doing 3D and 2D designs. Even the full assembly drawings can be generated automatically from the solids.
They also have a great user forum so drop in and say hello.

Alibre Design is a full featured parametric modeling program that allows quick creation and modification of 3-D solid models. With features that rival the expensive competitors, Alibre's straight forward user interface makes solid modeling understandable even to the casual or occasional user.
Kelsey WoodWorks uses Alibre to design custom furniture and cabinetry, and maintain a library of standard designs from which we can derive new designs. Drawings and Photo Renderings can easily be created from the Solid model, and update automatically with changes to the design.
We have found our answer for a powerful, flexible, and affordable software for our design needs.
