As expected, the step by step directions have flaws in them. Students that have a lot of experience with Windows can usually overcome the omissions/wrong turns, but students that are not real solid with Windows tend to spend a lot of time trying to figure out another way to complete the totorials. That is what the instructor is for, so ask questions and don't think that you have a problem reading or following instructions, most likely it's not you.
A must for every Civil 3D user August 16, 2009 Kevin W. Clark (Euharlee, ga United States) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
James and Scott have written another great book. Every time I read it I find out something new. And anytime I have a question I find the answers in this book quick with little searching.
