Buy this before buying the casting kit August 12, 2008 T. Dorsey Harrington (NJ, USA) Not that you don't want the casting kit, but this book will help you decide what level of experience you have compared with what is required to successfully build one of these models. While the model described is the high-end Stuart brand, the techniques and procedures apply to other engines of this class. I highly recommend this book. Around the price range of this particular Stuart model, there are others more or less complicated, and after reading this book, I find that I am 1) much less intimidated by the project, and 2) have decided that a less-complicated model would be a better choice for my first project. Should that project succeed, I will "step up" to building a Stuart, using the techniques clearly and ably presented by this authoer.
