5 out of 5 stars The small block Chevy Bible..   May 28, 2005
John Dougherty (Sacramento CA)
The book cover it all. The information is dated, but if your building a Chevy using used cast iron parts this is the book for you. If your building an 8000 + rpm screamer, get this book!! There
is a lot of theory and Bills advice on what to do and what not to do. A big section on camshaft theory too.
Hopefully the reissue the book... mine is totally worn out.

This book covers virtually all facets of building and tuning small block Chevy drag race engines. Although some of the information is a bit dated, it remains one of very few sources for technical and theoretical reasoning behind what makes a drag racing small block tick.
