Everything you need to know April 20, 2008 Hessel (The Netherlands) this book gives an excellent explanation about the internal workings of any motor vehicle. some times it is a little hard to understand the meaning of sentences, but overall this book is really all you need to know about combustion engines. it has enough diagrams and figures to explain all the though parts. overall a very good book.
Great book if you're an engineer September 15, 2007 Troy Morgan (Pine Grove, PA United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I imagine this is a great book if you are an engineer, however, I am not. The book goes into equations and formulas that normal mechanics don't need and don't understand. Different alloys are discussed as well as design and manufacture differences, again, nothing that a technician would need. I didn't want to trash the book completely because I'm sure it would be great for mechanical engineers or design engineers, but for the field technician, don't waste your money.
