I just received for 20 minutes ago, and i think This is the best book I ever have. Nothing like this. Very complete, very details, very user friendly, and offcourse very cheap for me, than you have to trial and error for your vmax. But, i think Haynes should be input the Historial of This Bike from beginning to presents. I'll buy it again if you made it haynes....
VMX1200 V-Max '85 to '03 (Haynes Service & Repair Manual) March 13, 2007 Nichol Avraam (Chicago, IL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Has everything I expected from a repair manual and more. Makes an every day Joe like me seem like a competent and skilled mechanic. Please note that a certain aptitude is required to perform even the basic tasks, the book is really a step-by-step idiots guide and any novice should research before attempting to perform maintenance for the first time. The book will help diagnose issue but in the field, unless you have experienced the cause of a fault or breakdown, it could be something else. It's a great book; all V-Max owners should have one. As all V-Max owners know, these bikes were built to last, the engine is a work horse and will keep running with good maintenance as laid out in the book. I hope this helps you budding V-Max owners.
