I thought this book was very thorough. It had everything inside! Right down to the electrical specs!

If you are an absolute ingnorant,as I was, in motorbike mechanics, and want to know everything about your Sportster, this is the book for you. Cristal clear explanations, schemes and photos of the different systems in your bike. You'll be able to recognize every single piece in it. This book gives you step by step instructions to diagnose problems, and to disassemble and assemble again your entire Sporster.
It even describe and tells you how to use every single tool you would need.
Really good choice!

This book was everything I wanted and more. I was looking for basic maintenance and some of the detailed stuff like how much oil to put in yada yada yada. This book not only had that but it has complete tear downs and everything with one section just on maintenance. I thought I would have to go to a harley dealership like I do with everything else but not with this book. If your looking for complete books Clymer is the way to go.

This book is the best book in my opinion for do it yourself Harley Enthusiests, who are still trying to find there way around a bike. Detailed pictures and explanations helped me to build one sick Sportster.
