Hayne's manuals are first rate February 25, 2008 Jeep Dude I've been buying Hayne's manuals for years and was delighted to see that they offered one for my new Harley. They feature ample photos and provide instruction for all year models, not to mention an interesting historical piece at the preface. I'd give 5 stars but I couldn't find the exact photo that I was looking for a specific problem that I was experiencing.
Must Have July 18, 2007 James Anthony C. Garcia (Philippines) A must have for those who bought their bikes used. A detailed instrutions on maintainance and a get to know your bike book. Samples and pictures are generally focus on older models though. But other than that, a great book.
Good General Information May 22, 2007 John D. Rivera (Virginia) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was hoping to get some information on my HD Sportster and this book provides good general information and troubleshooting guidance. This book is not a service manual.
Good Manual January 15, 2007 Rob Carrie (Broome Western Australia) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Very comprehensive with attention to detail - my old eyes would like larger font and bigger pictures and diagrams but it seems most publishers are not concerning themselves with older readers. Nevertheless a good manual.
A VERY GOOD OPTION FOR NOT PRO MECHANICS August 8, 2006 Roberto Mendez Hernandez (MEXICO CITY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
iS A VERY GOOD GUIDE TO DETECT TROUBLES IN THE OPERATION OF YOUR HD MACHINE, AND KEEP IT IN GOOD CONDITIONS. I THINK THAT THE MANUAL NEEDS MORE GRAPHICS LIKE OTHERS HAYNES MANUALS. ANY WAY GOOD BOOK
