Product Description
When released in 1977, BMW's R100 RS caused a sensation with its unique, utilitarian wedge fairing and its 980cc flat-twin. Briefly discontinued in the mid-1980s, the R100 was brought back by popular demand and today lives on as one of the most groundbreaking motorcycles of all time. Illustrated with dozens of color photographs, this insightful story of the BMW R100 RS covers the evolution of the motorcycle through all model years through the last year of production in 1993.

Customer Reviews:
It will make you a prouder R100RS rider November 7, 2003 Luca Boccianti (Roma, Italia) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
It's concise and cheap and it says a lot of how the R100RS was thought and projected. The pictures are interesting. If you don't know the history of this bike, and you own one of it, you should really read it: you'll know you ride a piece of motorcyclist engineering history. If you already know, buy it all the same!
