Product Description The hit television series American Chopper portrays the tension, tirades, and triumphs of the father-and-son team of custom motorcycle builders known as Orange County Choppers. The show captures the family dynamics and fiery exchanges, showcasing the pairs contrasting styles but similar passions as they create remarkable, one-of-a-kind motorcycles. Similarly, American Chopper, the book, portrays the fruits of their labor: the highly sought-after, distinctive bikes themselves. In an engaging, informative style, the book details the history of custom motorcycles and what it takes to build a custom bike the tools and fabricators and the blending of artistic vision with iron, chrome, and steel. Photographed specifically for this book, more than 25 of O.C.C.'s custom choppers including the shows famous "Black Widow," "Jet Bike," "Comanche," "Mikeys Bike," and "Fire Bike" are handsomely displayed and photographed with many beautifully detailed shots.

| Customer Reviews: ORANGE COUNTY CHOPPERS November 12, 2009 WEEK END CHEF (CAMBRIDGESHIRE, ENGLAND) STUNNING COFFEE TABLE BOOK, SUBSTANTIAL VOLUME, EXCELLENT PHOTOGRAPHY - MAKES A LOVLY PRESENT FOR CHRISTMAS.
Beautiful book for the coffee table July 27, 2009 LOURDES ARIAS-GREEN (Miami, FL) My husband is a fan of the show, so the coffee table book was a no-brainer. He loved it.
Orange County Choppers. June 24, 2008 Kaye Balchin (Melbourne, Australia) This book is a must for all the OCC fans out there. I purchased this for my 14 year old nephew, who just loves all things loud, metal, motors and boy stuff !! This book showcases the artwork of the bikes created by the OCC boys, from the ideas to the finished product. As for being a technical book then I would say it will not be sufficent in that area. But to a 14 year old it does a couple of things, firstly it encourages reading and conversation, the pages are well covered with plenty of photos and enough text to be of interest. The cover is very lavish and very appealing to the boys, especially as it has an OCC medallion as the centre piece. This book even caught the attention of my nephews father, which is a good thing, although Dad will have to get his own copy !! So well done to the OCC marketing dept. you have a good product.
DAVID MANN will be proud November 6, 2005 Sammy P. Panganiban (Chicagoland, Illinois) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
This is a must-buy for all OCC fans and for bikers alike. Wow, I must say this book encompasses what OCC has done and their contribution to the world of custom bikes. Not only that this book have featured their custom bikes and the story behind it, but it also has provided the readers the history of motorcycles, Sturgis, etc. It also has wonderful photos of their bikes like the Liberty Bike, Jet Bike, Caterpillar Bike, etc. Make David Mann prud and buy this book.
