More Proficient Motorcycling: Mastering the Ride August 20, 2009 Lonnie Mullenix (Barnum, MN USA) I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to improve their riding skills. This is aimed at those who are out on the highways and byways of any country in the world. Easy enough to read, with many quality diagrams that help to explain the concepts that are discussed in the book.
David does a great job.
More Proficient Motorcycling March 28, 2009 Bruce L. Dinoff (Columbia, SC) Anything written by Hough is a worthy read. His style is good and the information is even better. All of the things mentioned will benefit any rider.
A must read for anyone who rides! February 18, 2009 Caryn Pettigrew I have only been riding for one year now. Though I can't wait to get back on my bike come Spring, I am a little nervous that I may forget what I was taught in the class. I feel that this book is an addition to the beginner rider course. You can easily understand what the author is referring to, once you have already been out on the road. He points out the mistakes that some riders may make and ways to avoid hazards. I highly recommend this book for anyone who rides, no matter how many years of experience that they may have!
Mandatory Reading for Motorcyclists January 14, 2009 Jon Black (Roanoke, TX USA) Total Control by Lee Parks is great information for the track but David Hough covers all the rest -- riding the canyons, the country roads, the cities and the suburbs. Important information that you probably just haven't taken the time to think about. This book should be offered at all the safety schools.
Book review December 26, 2008 Hada Debeso (FLorida, USA) This is a continuation of his first book and I find it is also very informative for a new rider.
