Product Description
Bust big with all the hottest pros competing in freestyle motocross, the phenomenal sport that combines the finesse and athleticism of Supercross with the aerial insanity of half-pipe BMX. Up-close and personal color photographs of stars like Mike Metzer, Seth Enslow, Travis Pastana, and Trevor Vines take readers through step-by-step instructions for no-footed can-cans, candybars, nac-nacs, fendergrabs, and more of the mind-bending acrobatics seen in such competitions as the X-Games. A brief history of the sport is also included, along with tips on setting up a dirt bike for freestyle and a supplemental gallery of wild shots from competition and practice sessions.

This book will help u get to your stages u want to get to. Some of the tricks you have to do on bigger jumps because you have to get more air time but build up slowly on ramps and get into bigger tricks. You never know you might be in the x games or gravity games.

If your looking for tips and how to ride like the pro's then you got to get this book. It was easy to understand if you know all the terms. It really helped my performance and now I do better on the track. This is a must get for any dedicated MotoCross Rider.

3 out of 5 stars Not for beginners   November 17, 2000

Being a beginner, I was hoping to see at least one chapter of "how to jump" or even a few chapters on "beginning freestyle jumps". But, if you are an experienced jumper, this book is for you. Great pics and instructions. Just too advanced for my abilities.
